Frequently Asked Questions

They are installed at the high-pressure heater inlet and outlet and operate as a combined valve set.

The two valves switch rapidly to isolate the heater and allow feedwater to bypass it.

After heater isolation, feedwater is directed through the bypass toward the economizer.

Review the heater arrangement, feedwater conditions, bypass scheme, pressure, temperature and BW connection.

Provide inlet/outlet sizes, pressure, temperature, body material, BW data, combined-valve arrangement, quantity and drawings.

Product Overview

Vornet High-Pressure Heater Inlet and Outlet Valves are installed as a matched pair at the inlet and outlet of a high-pressure heater.

If tube rupture or another fault requires the heater to be removed from service, the valves switch rapidly to isolate it. Feedwater then bypasses the heater and flows toward the economizer.

This combined-valve function supports continuous unit operation while the heater is isolated. Project review should use the confirmed pressure, temperature, material and BW connection data.

  • Combined Valve Set: Inlet and outlet valves operate together.
  • Rapid Heater Isolation: Responds when the heater must be removed from service.
  • Feedwater Bypass: Directs flow toward the economizer.
  • Power-Plant Continuity: Supports continued unit operation.
